Sonic Binary was born on a Saturday morning in May 2026, from a long-standing passion for programming and emerging technologies. The idea came spontaneously: why not build a radio station from scratch — server, streaming stack, admin panel, and all — and start broadcasting copyright-free music that is hopefully enjoyable to listen to? That is exactly what happened. In a single day, the entire infrastructure was set up: a dedicated VPS, Icecast2 for streaming, Liquidsoap for scheduling, and a custom PHP admin panel built from the ground up. The music currently on air is AI-generated and entirely original — no licenses, no royalties, no restrictions. The vision for Sonic Binary is to grow gradually: adding technical content, developer talks, and podcasts covering programming, systems administration, and the ever-evolving world of technology. This is not just a radio station. It is a project born out of curiosity, built with code, and fueled by a genuine love for what technology can create.
