Radio Paradijs was started in 1980 as sea pirate and born again with the old owner in 2017. The radio station Radio Paradijs was to be heard for the first time on Sunday 26 July 1981 at 270 meters with test broadcasts. De Telegraaf and Veronica TV paid extensive attention to the new sea channel on Wednesday 29 July. On Saturday, August 1, 1981, the Dutch government entered the radio ship Radio Paradijs and brought it to Amsterdam
