Troubadour 1710 is a Part 15 AM & FM station that serves the Shirley Massachusetts neighborhoods of Shirley Center, North Shirley, and Woodsville with a format of folk, acoustic, Americana, world, and new age music. We are the 21st century stepchild of Walden 1120 AM in Concord, MA. Troubadour 1710 broadcasts at 1710 kHz AM and 97.9 MHz FM and was founded in 2004. It is the flagship station of Minimum Wage Media, founded by former WADN music director Jeff Gill. We hope to be adding a transmitter in downtown Worcester soon. Our sister station, Liberty & Justice 1640, airs a populist, independent, and natural health talk format and serves an identical coverage area.
