History
KDUN history goes back over 56 years from the first filing with the commission in the fall of 1958 to June of 1961 when KRAF (KDUN) went on the air from Bolon Island! Above and below are just a few bits and pieces of what we have dating back to the fist day of broadcasting "Radio KRAF" ( See Below: Paul Hurlocker on air in 1965. Btw...the original floor is still in the transmitter building) then KDUN in the 1980's (See Pics) through the KLLU days then..."Real Country", the "KDUNE" years, before the power upgrade.

KDUN has always been a leader in the community pioneering such shows as "Public Market" back in 1972 and "KDUN News" in the mid 1970's just to name a few. Tradio came into being in the early 2000's. Delilah got her start at KDUN when she was in high school.

KDUN was a news leader from the early 1970's thru the end of the 1980's and was the number one radio station for well over a decade. KDUN published it's own daily "newspaper" called "KDUN 1470 News".
