Songs for camping and road trips

Lifestyle

We still have a couple of months to go before the summer holiday starts, but that does not stop people from booking their holidays and fantasising about their upcoming plans.

One thing that music lovers, for instance, do is creating playlists for their holidays. However, what are typical songs for camping and which campfire song cannot miss in your holiday playlist?

Songs whilst on the road

One of the things you will remember from films are the road trips that the protagonists make. When dreaming about your upcoming road trip, you will probably hear the tunes of your favourite road trip songs in the back of your head. The perfect songs for your playlist will, therefore, unmistakably be Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver, and All Summer Long by Kid Rock. The songs will remind you of the lightness, relaxedness, and self-confidence you experience when road tripping, which might be a few of the best feelings ever.

Songs for camping

At the end of your road trip, you will arrive at your conceived destination, whether that is a site you found last minute on the road or a camping spot you reserved beforehand. After you and your friends have unpacked and pitched the tents, it’s naturally time to listen to some campfire songs. Songs by Earth, Wind and Fire, Fleetwood Mac and Red Hot Chili Peppers are recommended, but Free Fallin’ by Tom Petty and Let Her Go by Passenger are a few of our favourites. If you did not create a playlist with songs for camping for your adventure beforehand, you can always decide to download a playlist from Spotify or listen to free radio at RadioGuide when you have service.

How to play music while camping?

Although there are many songs suitable for camping and road tripping, it’s not always and everywhere possible to play music. Therefore, we recommend downloading playlists before leaving for your trip. When you have no service, you can still listen to your favourite songs for camping. Also remember to bring a portable speaker for the best quality. Having said that, making your own music whilst camping might be even more fun than just listening to a radio station. Bring for instance a guitar, a harmonica, or create your own drums. This way, you will make unforgettable memories.
