iDance Radio is ontstaan vanuit een passie voor dance, classics, radio-entertainment en het ondersteunen van nieuw talent. Wat begon als een ambitieus online radioproject groeide uit tot een volledig multimediaal danceplatform binnen NextWave Entertainment vzw , met een sterke focus op muziek, community en evenementen. Vanuit de studio in de Westhoek brengt iDance Radio vandaag 24 uur per dag een mix van dance, classics, energieke shows, live mixes en interactieve programma’s. De zender profileert zich als een modern online radiostation waar luisteraars niet alleen muziek ontdekken, maar ook deel worden van een actieve community. Programma’s zoals WE DANCE, The Morningshow, resident DJ-mixes en thematische weekends zorgden ervoor dat het station snel groeide binnen Vlaanderen en ver daarbuiten. Doorheen de jaren evolueerde iDance Radio van een klassieke online stream naar een breder entertainmentmerk. Naast radio kwamen er ook live-events zoals de iDance NXT LEVEL Party’s, samenwerkingen met artiesten en de oprichting van platformen zoals Music Delivery voor DJ-sets en nieuwe muziek. Hierdoor groeide iDance uit tot een springplank voor beginnende DJ’s, producers en creators. Een belangrijke uitbreiding kwam er met de lancering van verschillende online themazenders. Daarmee wil iDance inspelen op specifieke muziekstijlen en luistermomenten. Elke digitale zender kreeg zijn eigen identiteit, maar blijft trouw aan de slogan: “Your Dance. Your Energy.” De belangrijkste themakanalen zijn onder andere: iDance Classics Een zender volledig gericht op de grootste dance classics uit de jaren 90, 00’s en vroege 10’s. Ideaal voor liefhebbers van retro dance, clubhits en nostalgische beats. iDance Vlaams Een Nederlandstalige themazender met Vlaamse hits, ambiance en meezingers gecombineerd met een moderne iDance-sfeer. iDance Christmas Een tijdelijke seizoenszender die tijdens de eindejaarsperiode non-stop kerstmuziek, winterhits en feestelijke classics uitzendt. iDance Chill Gericht op rustige beats, lounge, chill-out en relaxte elektronische muziek voor ontspanning en achtergrondbeleving. Naast deze digitale stations blijft het hoofdstation van iDance Radio het centrale platform voor live radio, shows, interviews, podcasts, DJ-sets en evenementen. Dankzij de online aanpak is iDance Radio wereldwijd beluisterbaar via de website, mobiele apps en verschillende radio-app-platformen. Vandaag staat iDance Radio symbool voor een moderne generatie online radio: flexibel, interactief, digitaal en volledig gebouwd rond muziekbeleving, community en entertainment.

What could be the reason there is no sound?

1. Make sure your speakers and the media player are not muted :) Not an uncommon problem ;)
2. Please try again in another browser, preferably Chrome, Firefox and when using a windows media player option Internet Explorer.
3. Try another stream type clicking: windows media player or external player as alternative
4. Be patient, some radiostations load within 10-20 seconds due to high traffic issues.
5. If you do not have any flash player we automatically load the second best player, so again be patient.
6. If the stream doesn't start automatically please click the play button or the mp3 option on the right, please retry 1,2 or 3 times. Most of the times this works.
7. If you are using a windows media player, this will mostly only work in Internet Explorer.
8. A radiostation might be temporarily unavailable due to several reasons. If your favorite station is not working right now, please try again in a few moments.
9. The media player isn't showing/working in your browser, check below what you can do about it
10. Try another computer or device (tablet, phone etc).
11. Some radiostations have limited rights for international broadcasting. Some stations only broadcast in their own country. For example BBC in the UK and lots of stations in the US. If you really want to listen use a proxy server from that specific country to solve this problem.
12. Report this issue using our Broken Link page or send an email to [email protected]. We are able to see if there is something wrong.

Why do I see a grey screen?

Probably this is caused by an popup adblocker

Stream keeps on buffering
In Windows Media Player you can improve this. Go to Extra, Options, and then tab performance to extend the netwerkbuffer to 15 seconds.
