RKNW 2

RKNW was the last regular land based pirate radio station operating on Sundays and Bank Holidays in the UK. Serving mainly South West London and surrounding areas on 1521 kHz MW, RKNW ran for 4 years but finally ceased broadcasting in December 2015 due to the ever decreasing listener-ship on the medium wave. However, the legend lives on in the form of archived programmes updated each month on our internet stream. RKNW stood for 'Really Kool New Wireless', but later became 'Really Kool Naughty Wireless'.
